My grandma Jan was a talented painter. I always wanted to be able to do what she did. Unfortunately the talent went to my cousin. I’m happy for her though. Back to my grandma’s pictures… She Had a few paintings of indigenous women. The one that I kept is of a woman’s back with this gentle light coming over her long black hair. But my favorite part of this picture is that the background is just a mix of colors. Mostly the ones on this yarn with a little bit of purple and gray. There were no detailed buildings or foliage behind her. The person in the picture just being alive with nothing else was so beautiful. I think we often think that we have to be a certain size or our face has to look a certain way in order to be counted as beautiful. Honestly, the fact that we just exist as the one and only us is beautiful. Whether you want to believe it or not, you are exquisite. Just you.
These are all similar but not twins. Each one will have slight differences. I will do my best to match them up before sending them out.
For fiber and color protection, please only wash on delicate or medium heat. Medium heat as well in the dryer. Air drying is always best.
