Is it really me if I go two weeks without doing any sunset or sunrise dyes? I have an obsession with the sky. I have since I was a kid. It also helps that purple and blue are my two favorite colors. So imagine with me… you wake up on a boat (yes, we have a boat now). You leave your chambers to view and open expanse of ocean and pink, purple and blue skies. Why? Because it’s 6 AM and we should still be sleeping. But we would’ve missed this if we had slept in.
Outside of dying,rinsing, and laying the roving flat to display the colors I try not to play with a roving too much. Even though these are super wash, there is still that one percent chance that it could felt a little and it’s not gonna happen on my watch. I want this to get to you and be so easy for you to spin up. This roving is butter soft. I love the super wash, and even though it is sliver roving, it has enough length for a good grip.
In the event that you need to wash this before you spin it, please use cool water to keep from shocking the wool. It might not felt but it can still stiffen it.
