100% cotton
660 yards
Worsted weight (size 4)
Have you ever heard the story of Mrs. O’Leary’s cow? It was stated that her cow knocked over a lantern that started the great Chicago fire. Later that was disproven as a story made up in order to sell papers. Right now, an old cranky orange faced man is making up stories about Chicago In order to harm others. But just like the great Chicago fire, I feel that Chicago can work together to put out this fire and build itself again. They are resilient. They are above petty gossip. No matter what you throw with them, they are going to persist. We love you Chicago! Keep doing your thing. Fight for human rights! Might I also add, it is so hard to get a dark black on 660 yards of cotton. There’s just too much saturation flowing through it even when you try to squeeze all the water out. But it did give it this good aged look. I kind of like the aged look for the fire.
If you would like to wash this, please use cold water to keep the colors lasting longer. Air dry if possible.
