I had originally wanted to make some roving the same color as my dogs sweater. It starts out a light pink orange and moves into pink, then purple, and then blue. But then I forgot what I was doing and added some pink orchid and black. Sometimes I just have no self-control. Now it looks like Rios little universe.
Outside of dying,rinsing, and laying the roving flat to display the colors I try not to play with a roving too much. Even though these are super wash, there is still that one percent chance that it could felt a little and it’s not gonna happen on my watch. I want this to get to you and be so easy for you to spin up. This roving is butter soft. I love the super wash, and even though it is sliver roving, it has enough length for a good grip.
In the event that you need to wash this before you spin it, please use cool water to keep from shocking the wool. It might not felt but it can still stiffen it.
